ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Lead a team of engineers and drive projects end to end
  2. Lead, plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality
  3. Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting a visual and measurement test
  4. Approve in-process production by confirming required specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests
  5. Approve all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests
  6. Interpret and implement quality assurance standards
  7. Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs
  8. Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data
  9. View the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems
  10. Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities
  11. Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues
  12. Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calling for repairs.
  13. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system
  14. Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions
  15. Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities
  16. Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers
  17. Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions
  18. Monitor risk management activities
  19. Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
  20.  

PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB:

1.     Bachelor’s degree in the field of engineering preferred

2.     Microsoft office skills (excel, word, PowerPoint, outlook)

3.     Minimum of 5 years of quality inspection, auditing and testing experience is preferred

4.     Ability to forge good teamwork as well as with other departments.

5.     Experience with SAP Preferred

6.     Bilingual in Korean/English preferred
